Fifth and sixth grade students can participate in band or orchestra. Students are responsible for their own instruments unless the district has available instruments. Students receive 30 minutes of instruction four days a week.
Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Grade students may participate in Chorus. Chorus meets after school once a week and performs at various assemblies and after school music concerts throughout the year.
At various times of the year student clubs such as ASB, Math Olympiad, Destination Imagination, Homework Club, and Foreign Language Club meet. Information and permission slips are sent home with students. Check with your child to make sure all flyers and information arrive home.
Fifth and Sixth Grade students may join Student Patrol Program. . Patrol assists at crosswalks, parking lot crossings and traffic flow. Student Patrol follows a schedule developed by our Adult Patrol Advisor. They must arrive early for morning patrol and depart late if they are on afternoon patrol. Bus transportation is not available.
Students must be responsible in their classrooms to qualify for student patrols. Student Patrol is on duty 20 minutes before school starts and 15 minutes after school is dismissed. Children should not arrive at the crosswalks until patrol is present.
