Announcements

Dear Silver Ridge families,

Thank you, volunteers!

In this day and age when time is a precious commodity, I want to send out a heartfelt thank you to our incredible elementary school volunteers! Your dedication and enthusiasm make a world of difference in helping our students grow. From assisting in classrooms to organizing events, your selflessness and kindness help to create a nurturing environment where children can thrive. We appreciate your invaluable contributions in building a brighter future for our community. Thank you for being guiding stars in our students' educational journey. You will find some snacks and treats in the office this week as a small token of our appreciation!

Rainier's Game

Did you get the flier we sent home last week for the Rainiers’ game? We are hoping you can join ASB and staff for a day at the ballpark on Sunday, June 9th! A dollar of every ticket sold goes to support 5th grade camp. We hope to see you there! (Please reach out to the office if you need another flier.)

K-4th Grade Families - Action Item

Please let us know what your plans are for next year by taking a minute to fill out this short form for us. If you aren’t 100% sure what your plans are, that’s okay, you can make a note of that on the form. (You can include all your children on this one form by checking all that apply.)

2024-25 Planning Form

SBA

Third through 5th grade students will be SBA testing May 7, 8, 14, 15 and 16. We want to encourage you to bring your children to school well rested and well fed. Of course, if a student is ill, that is totally understandable. Thank you for helping us decrease unnecessary make-up testing!

Book Drive

From Spring Break until June, we invite students to bring in gently used books that they are no longer using. There is a book bin in the foyer or they can be dropped off in the library. Heather and I go through all of the books to weed and organize them. In June, on the same day as field day, the books will be displayed in the gym for classes to come down and get some good books to take home. Last year I believe there were enough books that every student had the opportunity to take home 6 books.

You can find the flier here: Got Books.jpg
