Students are dismissed early on Thursdays so instructional staff can receive professional development, participate in data analysis teams, and plan for instruction. This common planning time helps us meet the needs of each student to reach his/her full potential as a learner.
School is normally in session during the following hours:
- Monday: 9:10 a.m.— 3:25 p.m.
- Tuesday: 9:10 a.m.— 3:25 p.m.
- Wednesday: 9:10 a.m.— 3:25 p.m.
- Thursday: 9:10 a.m.— 1:55 p.m.
- Friday: 9:10 a.m.— 3:25 p.m.
- Saturday: closed
- Sunday: closed
On half days, school ends at 9:10 a.m.— 11:45 a.m.. Please check our calendar for upcoming half days, school holidays and other events.
In the event of a 2 hour delay, school will start at 11:10 a,m. and dismiss at 3:25 p.m.
Arrival and Departure Times
Children are not to be on school grounds before 9:00 a.m. unless eating breakfast or attending a school sponsored program. Breakfast begins at 8:45.
Children are expected to go straight home when dismissed. If attending an after school activity, they must make arrangements in advance and have written permission from a parent. They may not call home for permission.
Written permission from a parent is required for a bus driver to disembark a student at a bus stop other than the student’s regular stop.
Office Staff and Classroom Teachers
The school office is open from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. Our office staff will be glad to answer questions, help with problems or concerns and make the proper referral if necessary. Classroom teachers are available before school (8:30-9:10 am) and after school (3:25 – 3:45pm). The principal and learning specialist are available throughout the day, just call to schedule an appointment.
Lunch Schedules
- First Lunch & Recess (K & 5th) 11:30 a.m. – 12:05 p.m.
- Second Lunch &Recess (TEAM) 12:00 p.m. – 12:35 p.m.
- Third Recess & Lunch (1st & 2nd) 12:20 p.m. - 12:55 p.m.
- Fourth Lunch & Recess (3rd & 4th) 12:40 p.m. – 1:15 p.m.
