This time of year always brings so many meaningful moments to celebrate! Over the past few days, we’ve been recognizing Certificated Staff Appreciation Week. Our certificated (teaching) staff make a lasting difference in the lives of our students every day, and I’m grateful for their dedication, care, and commitment to learning. Thank you for helping us honor and thank them!

It's also a season of milestones. Tomorrow, we’ll be sharing information about the incredible staff members who are retiring or celebrating years of service—watch for that on social media. And just around the corner, we’ll be celebrating our graduates as they reach that important milestone and take their next steps.

Central Kitsap Schools joins communities across the nation in recognizing May as AANHPI Month. Throughout the month, CK Schools will engage students in lessons and activities that reflect the diversity, experiences, and achievements of AANHPI individuals, past and present, helping to deepen understanding and appreciation across our schools.
